Today I received an email from my dad that made me want to hug him.  It also made me want to laugh hysterically.  He and my mom tuned into The View yesterday (he for the sole purpose of possibly spotting me and her because she is actually a consistent viewer).  In hopes of the camera panning over the audience, they recorded it and were thrilled when their “little Laura Dee” appeared for a solid 5 seconds announcing Suze Orman during the commercial break.  My dad said not once, but twice how “proud” he was of me and my mom could not express enough how thrilled she was that I wore my hair up, so “everyone could see my pretty face.”  A comparison to Audrey Hepburn was also thrown into the mix somewhere. 

Yes, indeed, these are the things to be “proud” of ;).  I done good readin’ my lines and wearin’ my hairs in an up-do. 

And the comparison to Audrey?  I have never heard that one before, but I’ll take it.
