I’ve awoken to snow…not just regular snow…the pretty kind that floats down and doesn’t seem so threatening. My sleep has been horrible the past few nights due to exploding heat pipes beneath my apartment, so this is the first pleasant awakening I’ve had in days…this and maybe the Vicodin I took a little while ago is starting to kick in to make things even more enjoyable. I seem to have run out of regular Advil/Ibuprofen pain meds and still have leftover Vicodin from a surgery two summers ago. Yeah, I can’t believe it either, but I’m just not a big fan of medicating myself.
I’m afraid of walking in the snow this year. It’s a relatively new fear for me, but has a completely reasonable source…my knee is still “contusioned”…or in real words it would hurt really bad if I were to fall on the same spot again and could possibly lead to another stint on crutches. Because of this fear, today it’s movie watching in bed for me. Daydream Nation was delivered a couple of days ago…I am attracted to Kat Dennings, which is the main reason I chose it.
After watching the movie, however, it’s not Miss Dennings that I am so in like with…it’s Andie Macdowell. She’s southern, lives in North Carolina, has pretty hair, and a kind voice…what’s not to like?

Even the back of her head looks great…or maybe that’s just Bill Murray.

And here’s that snow I was talking about…
